Last month, we drove out to Douglasville to meet the adorable Baby Adam--the firstborn of our friends Steve and Holly. We'd been trying to get together since November, when Adam made his debut. But conflicting schedules, travel, illness, the holidays, etc., had been getting in the way. I was so excited to finally meet him and to hold him. I was careful not to squeeze him too hard--though I sure was tempted. ;o) He is such a cutie, and we are just thrilled for Steve and Holly! Congratulations!
Awwwww ... Holly and Steve dressed him in a little chipmunk outfit I got him months ago. :o) So sweet. (At that time, I hadn't found a squirrel outfit for him just yet.)
I dressed Kate in a squirrel outfit, of course! (BTW, we have a thing about squirrels. In case you were wondering.) Kate was being resistant here because she was more interested in chasing the cat.
All buckled in and ready to go! We went out to eat, and Adam was a champ!
Happy Family! Adam's nursery is just adorable! Holly is an interior designer, so what would you expect, right? I LOVE the alphabet!
Just look at that adorable little face!
Wonder Twin Powers ... Activate!
Before we left, we had to give Adam a few gifts we'd brought. This time, we had a pea theme going on. (Adam has been nicknamed "Little Pea" for a long time now.) Here he is modeling a pea bib from Zerbert Baby.
OK, I picked up this hilarious pea costume at the after-Halloween sales. I just couldn't resist. Holly thought it was great, but I don't think Steve agreed. LOL! Come on, Steve. Give peas a chance. ;o)
We had a great visit and were so glad to finally see Adam and his very blessed parents! Congratulations, guys!
What a beautiful baby! And you're right about the nursery...I noticed the utter cuteness right away! And your give peace a chance pun was not lost on me! ;)
