I read somewhere that The Prime Burger was a kid friendly restaurant and had received some good reviews. I also read that it had a nice breakfast menu--and it was close to where we were staying. So ... basically ... going there for breakfast one morning before Tanna had to leave for his meetings was no-brainer!
I liked these seats with the built-in trays. Kind of like little individual desks/tables. And very toddler friendly.
Tanna enjoyed his breakfast!
I am not a huge breakfast person, but I did enjoy some pancakes. The bacon was for Kate, but I may have had a bite or two. Maybe next time I can try one of those burgers. I do love me a good burger--well-done, please, with ketchup.
As an aside ... I noticed on the restaurant's Web site that "Primeburger" is all one word. This bothers me because--as you can see in my photos of the signs outside of the establishment--"Prime Burger" is listed as two words. As a former copy editor (don't judge my skills by this blog, though), this kind of stuff used to drive me bananas. But now I simply notice it and try to move on. (Try is the key word there--LOL!)
Additionally ... note that there is no "The" preceding "Prime Burger" in the sign below. This also bothers me--kind of like sometimes you will see "The Home Depot" and sometimes just "Home Depot." Is the THE part of the name or not, people? I don't really care, but why not be consistent? At any rate, don't let this hinder you from visiting either The Prime Burger or The Home Depot. :o)
You crack me up. That bothers me too. My mom was a journalism major, so those traits rubbed off on me! From a marketing standpoint (which I used to do for the Firm), it's bad branding! Very sloppy! :)
ReplyDeleteI completely understand, there is a local florist whose name is "A Arrangement Florist". It sooo drives me crazy, I want to change all of their signs and vans to An Arrangement Florist. My kids and hubby think I am crazy.
