In other news, on Tuesday (June 8) we received a notice in the mail from the United States Department of State, National Visa Center. It reads, in part: "The State Department's National Visa Center has recently received your approved Form I600, Petition to Classify Orphan as Immediate Relative. This letter is to inform you that within 3-5 business days your petition will be forwarded to the appropriate visa-issuing post where the adoption interview will take place."

Our file has been forwarded to the Embassy of the United States, Visa Unit, in Seoul, South Korea. We knew that already, but it is nice to receive written word in the mail. :o)
