We had a very nice Palm Sunday today. Tanna had to work this morning, so Kate and I went to church by ourselves. It was the first time I ventured to church with her by myself. We didn't make it to the early service, that's for sure! It was nonstop activity from the time I woke up until the time I got to the sanctuary--but, believe it or not, I was actually EARLY for the late service! Ha! This is big news, folks! I had to call Tanna to let him know (he does NOT like to be late to church ... and, unfortunately, I am usually the one running late ... sorry, Honey!). Anyway, he didn't answer the phone then, but he was proud of me when I told him later.
Today was Kate's first Sunday in the "crawler's" room of the nursery. Now that's she's on the move, there are all sorts of changes! Apparently, she did a good job. One of the nursery ladies said she cried a little bit at first but then took a nap and was fine. When I went to pick her up, she was chillin' in a bouncy seat. Little girl is growing up!
At church today there were more petting-zoo animals on the lawn. Let's see ... there were lambs (soooo cute!), little pigs, goats, a donkey, and even a chick and a duck (just like on F*R*I*E*N*D*S!). I took Kate to see them, but I think she may have been more interested in her palm branch a nursery lady gave her.
When Tanna got home from work this afternoon, we went to grab a bite to eat and then took a walk to the park. It was a beautiful day! Hope you enjoyed it, too!
