Survey says ...

So I am going through my in-box, trying to catch up on some e-mail. I have several of these surveys that friends have sent. I thought I might try to just respond here. I've adapted these a bit for blogging purposes.

Four things about me that you may or may not have known:

Four jobs I have had in my life:
What? Only four? LOL! I've had so many! It's hard to choose what to include, but here we go ...
1. Bagel shop counter girl (Very fun job b/c of the people I worked with--I used to laugh sooooo much at this job! The regular customers were great, too!)
2. Writer/editor at three different daily newspapers
3. Assistant editor/copy editor at an international magazine (Don't judge my skills based on this blog--I'm off the clock--ha!)
4. Professional gift-wrapper

Four movies I would watch over and over:
What do you mean "would"? These are movies I DO watch over and over:
1. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (and many other John Hughes classics--anyone who knows me knows this movie is going to be on this list!)
2. It's a Wonderful Life (quite possibly the best motion picture ever made)
3. About a Boy (hilarious--love the humor)
4. Amelie (A few years back, different people told me that they'd seen this movie and it reminded them of me. So I had to see it, and I loved it! So quirky--it's great! I loved seeing some of the spots in the film when we visited Paris year before last.)

Four places I have lived:
It's a good thing this isn't asking for addresses--after moving eight times in about five years, I am glad to finally be in one spot. We've had the same address for three years now. I think it may be a record for my post-college life!
1. Piney Flats, Tennessee
2. Blowing Rock, North Carolina
3. Maryville, Tennessee
4. Charlotte, North Carolina

Four TV Shows that I watch:
1. The Today Show
2. Jon & Kate + 8
3. Friday Night Lights
4. Beauty & The Geek

Four places I have been:
1. South Korea
2. Spain
3. Uruguay
4. Panama

Four American Landmarks (or should be) I've seen in person:
1. The Big Chicken in Marietta

2. The Grand Canyon
3.
Seattle Space Needle
4
. The Piney Flats Crossroads

Four things you might not know about me ... or maybe you do:
1. I was voted class clown in middle school and high school.
2. I love the post office.
3. I once kissed a hot doctor on top of the Eiffel Tower. (Well, maybe more than once--ha!) ;o)
4. I was interviewed on television about my scandalous seventh-grade science fair project.

Four of my favorite foods:
1. Chocolate
2. Chicken
3. Bread (biscuits, toast, etc.)
4. Green beans

Your turn!
