I know I have mentioned this before, but I will say it again: It has been so nice to form relationships with other families who also are in the process of adopting from Korea. It's great to get together and exchange ideas and information and feelings and frustrations. We have been fortunate to have met some great folks who are on this same journey--and we look forward to meeting more, too!
In the top photo, we had a kind of last-minute get-together a few weeks ago with Julie, Chris, Amy and Sam. A few others weren't able to make it (like I said, it was kind of an impromptu deal). It was informal--we just ordered some pizza, shared stories and got to know each other a little better. We hope to get together again soon--but it might be a little while, as Julie and Chris will be welcoming home their son, Sam, this month! We are so excited for them!
Then, last Friday morning, Kate and I met some new friends at Zoo Atlanta. Ruth Ann is a friend I met on the adoption boards. She and her family live about an hour and a half from here, and they were coming to the zoo for their younger daughter's birthday. I am so glad it worked out for us to meet them there--even if Kate was kind of rambunctious that day. ;o) Ruth Ann and her husband, Jeff, are waiting for their travel call to bring home Levi, their son, from Korea. They have two daughters, Brenna and Addie (who just turned 3 on Friday). What a sweet family--I hope to see them again soon!
Here are a few more photos from our outing:

Quick family pic (Hi, Kate!)
This one cracks me up!
looks like fun! How wonderful to have a support system that can truly empathize with the process you're going through to bring Isaac home!
