It's hard to believe that Isaac has been home for a week already! Where has the time gone? I was going to do a week's worth of photos and a roundup in this post, but I have tooooo many pictures. (Imagine that! hahaha!) So this is just a summary of his first few days (Thursday-Sunday) at home with us.
On Thursday morning, after a few hours of sleep, we were up and ready to get to know more this cute little guy. Tanna was up with Isaac before I was, and he let me sleep a little. (Thanks, Honey!) I soon got up and fixed some muffins for breakfast. At about 9 a.m., Uncle Johnny was heading back to Tennessee with Rebekah and Riley (who had been staying with us while their parents were on a mission trip), so they were soon stirring and ready to eat. Here are a few photos we took before they had to hit the road ...
Isaac with his Uncle Johnny (Isaac's middle name, Yo-han, is John in Korean.)
I love this picture of Rebekah and Isaac. This one was taken after we got back from the airport (technically Thursday morning also). On the floor, you can see one of the balloons that popped just before we left to go to the airport.
Riley and Isaac playing after breakfast
Trying to get a picture of the cousins--Isaac wasn't very into it. (Yes, Kate is still wearing what she wore to the airport the night before. LOL! It was a late night, people.)
First tea party with Nuna. R & R had set the table the day before.
Later in the day, Mommy attempts to get a sibling shot.
Napping with Ah-Pah
Getting ready to get into Nuna's puzzle ... (She LOVES that puzzle--thank you, Jasper!)
So sweet!
She loves being a big sister!
On Friday, Kate and I had to fax some paperwork to our insurance company, so we went to the FedEx store and then to CFA. What fun!
When we got home, we received this delicious cookie bouquet. It was almost too cute to eat. (Thank you, Baker Family!)
Later, we took our first family outing to Publix. The kids were sooooo cute in the shopping cart. And I have about 20 photos like this one to prove it. LOL!
Eating with Ah-Pah
I can't remember which day this was taken, but isn't Isaac sooooo adorable in his airplane PJs?
Halmoni came over Saturday morning while Ah-Pah was at work.
Isaac loves the Little People school bus.
He also loves the exersaucer (sp?). Halmoni brought over all the baby things we'd been storing at her house. Most of them Isaac is too big for already, but he does love the exersaucer. :o)
Halmoni hugs are awesome!
In the afternoon, Ah-Pah came home from work, and Mrs. Amy came by with dinner. (THANK YOU!) Check out his beautiful baby blanket she made for Isaac! She is so talented!
Thank you, Mrs. Amy!
Isaac loves the carrier.
Really, he does. ;o)
What a handsome fellow! We just love him to pieces!
He is absolutely beautiful. What a sweet family of four you make. Kate is the sweetest big sister ever.
