'See Jamie'

Jamie is one of Kate's BFFs. She often will request to "see Jamie" and gets SO EXCITED when we are going to have a get-together. Jamie's Mom tells me Jamie is the same way about Kate. It's so funny because when the girls get together, they don't necessarily play TOGETHER. And sometimes they kind of ignore each other. LOL! But as soon as we leave, Kate wants to "see Jamie" or "go to Jamie's house" again.

Both Kate and Jamie have a fabulous time with their friend Cammie as well. Cammie and her little sister Amelia live a little further away, so last-minute get-togethers with them are a little more tricky--but it makes their time together even more special. :o)

Kate got to see Jamie on Monday--the girls had a great time! Here are some photos as well as some others from our last few play dates.

  1. it is so funny, Braxton is the same way with one of our friends little girls, they both get upset if I visit without Braxton with me, but if he is with me when I visit, they ignore each other. Kids are funny creatures. BTW: Thanks for all of your prayers for me over the last few weeks!

  2. Just FYI from a mom of 3, two of whom are grownups now: Your toddlers are completely normal and doing what they are supposed to do with their friends.
Kids that age don't really play together, they play near each other. It's a developmental thing. You'll see it change when they get to be about 4-5.
Savor this stage though. It goes by very quickly.
