Anyway, here are 10 things about Kate @ 10 months:
- She took her first steps ... although she hasn't really taken too many more. She loves cruising around the furniture and anything else--the wall, the windows, a random canvas bag on the floor--but she hasn't just "taken off" with her walking yet. It'll come ...
- She loves standing at the television and banging on the screen. She also loves playing with the pop-out panel. She's turned the TV on and off a time or two, too. Oh yeah--and she can't wait to knock the CDs off of the shelf each morning.
- We have this little game we play--she loves for me to nibble on her fingers. When I am giving her a bottle, she'll hold her hands up for me to nip at (or act like it), and she will laugh and laugh and laugh. It's so cute.
- She doesn't like the vacuum. It didn't used to bother her, but she's started crying when I vacuum her room when she's in there.
- She is eating more and more adult food. She loves trying new things! She still eats mostly baby food (stage 3 and occasionally a stage 2) and formula, but we're introducing more "grown-up" stuff to her diet.
- We have ourselves a little addiction. To pacis.
- She still kicks her little legs when she's excited about something. So cute.
- Her seventh tooth started popping through. It's one of the bottom ones next to the two in the middle.
- She loves opening drawers and emptying the contents. LOVES this. Oh, and opening and closing doors, too. (Ones that aren't shut all the way, of course)
- Favorite non-toy toys: keys, remote control, cell phone, paper, camera, keyboard, wires. She is attracted to these things like bugs to a porchlight.
And one to grow on ...
- Kate loves walking behind anything with wheels--such as her Little People school bus. Lately, she's really taken to pushing her own stroller around the living room--and she's gotten quite good at it! Aunt Robin gave her a little shopping cart that was Ri and Beck's, and she is really loving it!
She is precious and I can't wait to meet her! Love your blog by the way.
