When Joanna from One Krusty Mama tagged me for a cooking meme, I figured I probably wouldn't be a very good participant. See, I am horrible in the kitchen. And here's a little secret: Tanna does most of the cooking around here. He really enjoys it; I don't. I need to do better--I wish I had more of a desire to cook. Maybe I need to be like Dolly Parton and pour myself a cup of ambition.
Well, it turns out that the meme is just a series of questions and answers. (I thought we might have to share kitchen secrets or long-lost family recipes or something.) Anyway, here we go ...
The rules for Memes:
1. Answer the questions.
2. Link to the person who tagged you in your post.
3. Tag at least three other bloggers.
4. Let them know you've tagged them by commenting on their blog with an invite to participate.
When was the most recent time you were burned?
I can't remember.
Can you cook?
I can cook, yes. Do I enjoy it? Not much.
If yes, name your 3 specialties:
mashed potatoes ... shake-and-bake chicken (LOL!) ... and ... does Stouffer's lasagna count?
If yes, do you like to cook?
See previous answer.
If no, do you want to be able to cook?
Sure--I wish that I had more of a desire to cook and that I would enjoy it more.
What color is your kitchen?
Mostly gray and white
Do you bake?
Sometimes (if from a box counts).
If so, name your three specialties:
brownies, cookies, muffins
If yes, do you like to bake?
yes--a lot more than cooking
If no, do you want to bake?
n/a
What color is your apron?
I have a few--some Christmas and Thanksgiving ones ... and some others, too.
I am tagging Anne, Luann and Susan ... and anyone else who wants to participate!
OK. I'll try this, but I need to figure out how to link to other sites AND come up with three other blogs.
