Riley's 5th Birthday Party

The Birthday Girl with her Mommy and the fun birthday cupcakes

Yesterday afternoon was Riley's 5th birthday party in Tennessee. Despite the scorching-hot temperatures, the party was a lot of fun! Riley chose a Holly Hobbie theme and also requested party games as well as a visit from the ice-cream truck. The party was a lot of fun! It was great to celebrate Riley's big day with family and friends. (As you can tell, it was a big weekend for Rileys--Riley H's wedding on Saturday, and Riley S's birthday party on Sunday.) :o)

OK. This is my brother Johnny and me in the sack race. I am posting this to show Anne that I can be a good sport about the sack-race photos! LOL! (Believe it or not, there are worse ones--of me, not Johnny. haha!) As Robin reminded me, I didn't stand a chance against Johnny--the guy can jump! In fact, he played basketball for our high school and was the jump-center person (or whatever that is called) at the start of the game. Before I finished the sack race, a couple of my toes were actually poking through the sack. LOL!

The sack race was lots of fun!

The kids enjoyed the egg race, too!

Here comes the truck--can you hear the music?

Patiently waiting for the truck to turn around and come back ...
