Back from the Beach and a Busy Day!

We are back from the beach! Actually, we got back Saturday evening--but I still haven't unpacked everything just yet. I'll get to it in due time, my friends, in due time. I finally got all of the pictures off of the camera. It'll take me a while to sort through them and pick out ones to post and such, but here's a little preview ...

Matchy-matchy!

Is he contemplating the chief end of man--or just wondering what's for dinner?

I've got lots of blogging material to keep me busy, that's for sure!

We had a busy day today. Tanna headed back to work this morning, and we had a visitor. I volunteered to participate in a research study that a gal is doing for her doctoral dissertation--it's on scrapbooking and why people scrapbook, etc. She is a sociologist. Anyway, she came over this morning for a few hours to interview me about scrapbooking and to look at some of my scrapbooks, etc. She was really nice--and she is pregnant, due to deliver in just two weeks!

So this morning I was doing my usual "mad dash" before company comes, straightening up, wiping down countertops, etc., as well as getting out a lot of my scrapbooks. I guess I never realized how many I had until I dragged them all out--and I didn't even get them all out this morning. Wow--there are a lot! And that doesn't even count all the scrapbooks I've given as gifts. I guess I really did spend a lot of time (and money!) on the hobby back in the day--but I don't regret it (except for maybe a few expensive impulse purchases). Wish I had the time and space to devote to it now, especially with such an awesome subject. ;o) This blog is serving as a sort of scrapbook for me right now, though I have done several pages about Kate this year. I am always having new ideas for pages and things to scrapbook about. Anyway, I am rambling ...

Late this afternoon, Tanna's parents came over to visit. They just returned from a trip to Korea last week, so we hadn't seen them in over a month! They brought with them something special for Kate--I'll have to post a pic or two in a bit.

  3. Could this really be the same person who many years ago gave back her birthday present (a CM scrapbook) because after one year she just couldn't get into scrapbooking? LOL! BLY!
