Gymboree's Peel-A-Prize started yesterday and runs through June 15. It's basically a coupon that you can get in the store or via e-mail and you peel off the little flap thingy to reveal your savings. I went to Gymbo while we were at the mall yesterday, and the sales associate was handing them out in the store. I only got a coupon for 20 percent off (15 percent off is the lowest you can get)--got the same thing in my Gymboree e-mail. I didn't buy anything, so if anyone out there needs a 20 percent off code for an online order, just let me know. It's still an OK deal--especially if you're buying clearance stuff. I had a few marked-down things in my hand yesterday--but I put them back because it was time to feed Kate, and she was getting a bit fussy. Plus, we don't need a thing. If you're going to the store, maybe you'll get a better discount with your PAP. You can get up to 50 percent off your entire purchase as well as other cool prizes (like shopping sprees and funds for college tuition).
In case you were wondering, you don't have to be buying anything to reveal the discount you'll get. I know some promotions are like that--you don't know the percentage off you'll receive until you're checking out. With this one, you peel it off in advance. That way, if you hit the jackpot, you can buy more stuff. The more you buy, the more you save, right? LOL!
Oh yeah, word on the Gymbo street is that the magazine
American Baby (available for free at many Babies R Us locations) has PAP coupons in its June edition. Rumor has it that some mean ladies are going around and taking ALL of them! Bad, ladies, bad! If I was the Gymbo police, I'd arrest you!
I got 15%. Oh well. Donna G. and Kristie M. have sold these coupons on ebay and actually made some moolah. Go figure.
