The Birthday Girl and her Family
We had a ball at Anna-Claire's 2nd birthday party! It was held the Saturday after Thanksgiving at the Christian Life Center of Johnny and Anne's church. Anna-Claire loves Sesame Street, so that was the theme for the big event. I'll let the photos tell the story ...
These Cookie Monster and Elmo pull-apart cupcake cakes were so cute ... and so yummy!
Party time! See the ball pit? It was a hit!
Kate loved it!
Anne did a great job with the decorations.
Elmo is ready to party!
Bert and Ernie keep watch over the napkins, plates and plastic ware.
Even the juice boxes were Sesame Street-themed.
A-C is ready to celebrate! I picked up those Sesame Street scene setters on clearance at Party City. They were only, like, 50 cents each! Score!
Blowing out the candles
Here I am with the Birthday Girl--love that smile ... and that chocolate chip cookie dress. I got one for Kate to wear in the spring. :o)
And now ... a few of the party guests ...

Grampy and Grammy

Aunt Robin, Uncle Steven, Rebekah and Riley

Kate with her parents

Anne's parents ... aka ... GiGi and Papa

Cousin Ross and his parents were there all the way from Charlotte

More cousins ... Nick and Emily :o)

Aunt Robin fed Kate some Cheetos, and she loved them!
How fun! I love how well thought and put together the decorations are. What a fab party for special girl! Happy Birthday Anna-Claire!

ReplyDeleteAw, what a sweet post! Thanks! And thanks again for all your help with everything! You got some great pictures of the par-tay! I'm glad Kate liked the ball pit! I purchased it with her in mind. :)
ReplyDeletebly!
I was searching Elmo cakes and came across your blog..What did you use for Elmo's eyes, nose and mouth?
ReplyDeleteHey how's it going? I am planning a sesame street theme party for my son and I was wondering where you got your wall stickers from?
ReplyDeleteHI! I believe those are called "Scene Setters" if I remember correctly--it might help you find some online. I found those here in ATL for super cheap on clearance at Party City. Not sure if they still carry them, but it's worth a try. I bet you can find some online though. Have a great party!
