Seriously, she hasn't used it for any message boards or e-mail accounts (or anything else that I know of), but that's her screen name. We call her katelim708 from time to time--and we have a little song about it, too. Basically, it's "katelim708" repeated and sung to the tune of "Skip to My Lou." Anne added a little line that includes part of our address--hilarious!
How did this come about? I will tell you! Several months ago, our niece Rebekah was talking to her Mom (my sister Robin) about her day at school. Apparently, she and one of her friends had been discussing Build-A-Bears or Webkinz (or something of the sort) that you can register online and then proceed to participate in various Web-based activities. Rebekah told Robin that she knew what her screen name was going to be: katelim(insert random numbers here). LOL!
When Robin told me about this, I thought it was hilarious. I told her that the screen name should be katelim708 because, after all, 7.08 is Kate's birthday. (It's 07.08.07, to be exact.) In fact, Tanna and I had called Kate "Lonelygirl708" from time to time (in reference to Lonelygirl15--the online video series about the girl who was really an actress).
Anyway, that's the story behind katelim708!
