When Karen Met Harry

So it has taken me almost a whole week to get this post up. Why? Because I am vain ... and forgetful. I was so excited to win Amanda's recent giveaway and to receive the new Harry Connick Jr. CD. Talk about a good mail day!

Anyway, I had told Amanda that I would post about it--but I needed a pic. I was going to get the DH to take a pic of me and Harry together, but I kept forgetting. Or if I did happen to remember, I had bad hair that day (meaning I hadn't gotten around to taking a shower or fixing my hair or putting on makeup). Just keeping it real, people!

I finally remembered to ask Tanna to take a pic last night. It was late, but after almost a week, it's going to have to do. ;o)

The CD is wonderful--I think my favorite track is "Can't Help Falling in Love with You." But there are so many fabulous songs on there--YOUR SONGS. Get it. You won't be sorry.

BTW, if you haven't yet, be sure to check out Amanda's awesome blog. I happened to stumble upon it when searching for something, and I just love it. Come to find out, she lives in the metro area! What a small world. Plus, if you are a Disney family, you'll be interested to know that she was just chosen to be an official Disney Mom. I am not sure what all that entails, but it's a pretty big deal.
