Young & In Love
Today is the 19th wedding anniversary of my sister Cindy and BIL Joe! 19 years they have been married! They are currently in the States, visiting from Spain ... where they reside with their eight (yes, EIGHT!) children. They are taking a little getaway tonight to celebrate. We hope you have a wonderful time--HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!Cindy and Joe got married in Knoxville, where they used to live. The date was December 16, 1989--I was just a sophomore in high school. If I remember correctly, we got to skip some school to go to Knoxville for the festivities leading up to the big event. It sure was cold--brrrrrrrr! As it turns out, there was a big ol' ice storm before the wedding, which had shut down the Interstate in parts of Tennessee, so some of our family from the Tri-Cities area couldn't make it to the wedding. We missed them, but the wedding was great! Check out these photos from their big day--I know you are totally digging the dresses and the hair ... not to mention those stylish gray tuxes!
