1 ... 2 ... 3 ... 4 ... 1234 ... Connect Four!
Kate **loves** this game! Of course, she does not understand how to play it, but she sure loves to put the chips in the slots, dump them out, and then do it all over again. She also is keen on lining the chips up on various table tops, window ledges and other surfaces. LOL!
The lodge where we stayed with my family in Tennessee had several games, including Connect Four--which was put to good use that weekend. I loved Connect Four when I was younger--in fact, I got it for Christmas one year! Anyway, when we got back, Tanna said we should get Kate her own Connect Four for Christmas. And so we did.
She has played with it a ton already and has thoroughly enjoyed herself, to say the least.

I LOVE Connect Four! Someday soon Kate will be totally beating you at it! It looks like they've made improvements to the bottom since I was a kid. Very cool...
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Kate is going to be a C4 CHAMPION in due time! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Kate, Grampy got one for Christmas too! We will have to play the next time we get together!!
ReplyDeleteLove You!
Grampy
Liam loves this game, too!! We should get the 2 together and let them go at it :)
ReplyDeleteI love connect four. One of my fave toy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift! Did it come in a hanna bag....even better. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad she is lovin' the Connect four! She looks so cute sitting on the game table, playing a round of C4. I had this game in my classroom...it is in my school stuff in the storage room. I need to dig it out. The girls would probably like it.
ReplyDeletebly!
Yesterday we went with some friends to Sprout Studio, which is this really cool place with different play areas for kids (we will have to go there when you guys come here!!!) ... anyway, they had this thing that reminded me of a giant Lite Brite, and Amelia was loving putting the pegs in and taking them out, putting them in, and taking them out. They also had something that was sort of like C4 (but not a game), which she also enjoyed. I think putting things in slots must be popular at this age!
