Last week, Kate participated in a toddler camp at a local church. It was just in the mornings, from 9 to noon. She was ready to go every morning, too! She would wait by the door when I told her it was time to go. What fun she had! Mommy had fun, too, running errands and having some free time. I loved picking her up--seeing her light up and run straight to me just melted my heart.
Here's Kate on the first day of toddler camp--ready to go inside the church.
Day two--running down the hall to her classroom
On the third day, I arrived to pick her up a little early and saw Kate and some of her fellow campers out for a stroll. So cute!
The last couple of days, we took time to stop and smell the flowers on our way to the car.
The last day of camp, I realized there was a huge window on the other side of the classroom where parents could look in. (Duh!) Here's our happy camper having a ball. Before this, she was over at the bookshelf.
At pickup that day, I noticed Kate had on her "backup" outfit. I figured she must have gotten wet or gotten paint, etc., on her clothes. It turns out, she had tripped on the playground and busted her lip. :o( She also was a little banged up on her chin and nose. Poor babe. Her teacher said she didn't even cry, though. She's a strong little girl!
It was a fun week of camp, and we have some cute craft projects to show for it, too. One was part of Tanna's Father's Day gift--pic coming soon. :o)
Karen, she is absolutely gorgeous, as always, but I'm absolutely amazed at how she looks like a little girl and not a baby anymore!! What happened to our 1 year olds???
ReplyDeleteI love that she had so much fun at camp! And what a tough cookie you have there.
Love you guys!
