Tanna's 37th Birthday

The DH turned 37 on Sunday. It was so great to spend the day together, especially after being apart for a week. We went to church in the morning and enjoyed a low-key afternoon hanging out at home. In the evening, Laura came over to watch Kate, and we went to The Capital Grille (a local fave around this household) for dinner. We had received a postcard about a special promo they were having for a bottle of wine and two entrees, so we put it to use! The restaurant gave us an excellent table, and our dinner was fantastic. The service was outstanding, as usual. Our server brought Tanna a free dessert, and he also took our photo and brought us our picture before we left! Oh yeah--our table was decorated with birthday confetti, too! Nice touch! We had a very nice date night celebrating Tanna's birthday. Here are some photos from the big day ... and the next, when we got a cookie cake for the occasion:

Tanna's birthday wine--from the year we were married!

View of downtown from our table--with a little zoom. ;o) One of the servers said our table was prime real-estate. Thanks!

Two new cigars for the birthday boy. One was from the Skaggs fam, and the other was from me. (Steven picked them both out when we were at the beach last week.)

Birthday cookie ... yum!

Make a wish!
