Today was Kate's first day of preschool for this year. It went well--yay! This morning, in the carpool line, she got this really anxious look on her face. And when it was time for her to get out, she was crying--but it wasn't too bad. When I picked her up this afternoon, she was all smiles! She kept saying, "Bye-bye, school!" I could tell she really enjoyed it.
This year, all students at Kate's preschool are eating lunch at school. I am a little nervous about it because Kate is a picky eater--and I am limited in what I can send that she will actually eat. But I think it will be good for her to see the other children eating a variety of foods. Also, they'll be working on potty-training in Kate's class. We haven't started yet, but she was wearing a pull-up when I picked her up from school today. And when I changed her before naptime, she said, "I do it." I think that's a good sign.
Our little girl keeps growing up! Too fast!

ReplyDeleteKate looks adorable in her piggies. AP is such a picky eater too. Too bad you can't pack chicken minis everyday. BTW, the calling cards I ordered off VistaPrint last night for AP were owl ones and they are adorable. You HAVE to get some for Kate!!!! I thought of her.
