Kate's Crayon Roll

Do you like the ROY G BV?

A friend on one of my favorite message boards recently contacted me after reading about Kate's love of crayons and coloring, etc.--especially at restaurants. (I think I mentioned on here how Kate got into the habit of asking for crayons almost as soon as we sit down at a restaurant table.) It seems like I was always fishing around in the depths of my purse, trying to retrieve a stray crayon or two from the vast darkness within.

No more, my friends!

The friend (Hi, Melissa!) said she wanted to send Kate a gift--an adorable crayon roll that she handmade! How sweet is that!? She wouldn't let me pay her for this thoughtful gift, but I was able to send her a little something in return (a Gymboree shirt (for her little girl) that she been looking for).

The crayon roll stays stocked and ready to go in Kate's backpack (not her school backpack, but her diaper-bag backpack). It has come in very handy, and is so cute! Thanks again, Melissa!

The crayon roll folds (or rolls, I suppose) up real nice-like, complete with a bow!

Put to good use ...
