Great Deals: Swaptember, Free Museums & Free Chick-fil-A

I am so excited about a special promotion that is going on among Atlanta-area attractions this month. It's called Swaptember, and it allows members of participating venues to receive discounts at others. I have been wanting to become a member of Atlanta History Center, and now is a fantastic opportunity. YAY!

Jennifer Maciejewski of Atlanta on the Cheap wrote all about this great promotion, so be sure to check out her post. I wholeheartedly agree that purchasing a membership with this deal will give you the best bang for your buck. So go for it!

Don't forget that this weekend is the first full weekend of the month, and we all know what that means! It means that Bank of America cardholders get FREE admission to many museums around the country. Last month, we checked out the High Museum of Art with this great deal. A few months ago, we hit the Atlanta History Center. The promotion is called Museums on Us, and it is a fabulous opportunity to see some of Atlanta's best museums and other attractions. (But it's not just for Atlanta--participating museums are all across the country! Thank you, BOA!)

Speaking of free museums and the High, Fulton County residents receive free admission to the High Museum of Art on the first Saturday of every month. The promotion is called Fulton Free Saturdays, and details are here. (BTW, active military receive complimentary admission, and retired military and military dependents can get a discount. Details on that same page.)

Who doesn't love a good Chick-fil-A sandwich? Better yet, who doesn't love a FREE CFA original chicken sandwich? You can get one on Monday (Labor Day) from 10:30 a.m. till closing time just by wearing a sports team logo! Word on the streets of the ATL is that even Little League logos and such count. Who knew?

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!
