'Twas the Day Before Easter

Yesterday, we went to our church Easter egg hunt.

See the sad little girl in the photo?

She didn't get any Easter eggs during the hunt for her age group. (It was very crowded--but that's life. It's a hard lesson to learn when you're 2 years old, but what can you do?)

A nice lady gave us one of her child's eggs. YAY! THANK YOU!

I was ready to go, but Tanna thought we should let Kate try to find an egg or two in the next hunt, which was for children ages 3-5. We let her get three, I think. (Seems like there were a lot more eggs and space for this particular division--but maybe that's just my perception.)

Kate sure had fun opening up the eggs to see what was inside.

Kate loves the balloons.

Before bed, we put out some carrots for the Easter Bunny. Isn't this plate cute? Got it at Target for $1.99. (Don't forget--Easter clearance starts tomorrow! See you there!)

Yes, Kate had to arrange the carrots *just so* ... and then count them.

Getting the basket out as well so the bunny can fill it. Kate kept fiddling with the carrots. Oh yeah--do you like my new table runner? I love it--got the last one (on display) at Cost Plus World Market--had a coupon, too! Yay! (I ironed it after this photo, and it looks better today.) It's reversible, too. Hoppy Easter!
