Guess what!? Kate won the shoe box derby on Saturday!
Turns out, she was the only contestant. At first, I wasn't sure if we'd missed the event, but apparently no one had preregistered. So we paid the $5 registration fee and got ready to roll!

That was so fun, we decided to give it another go! (Nevermind that at least one wheel would fall off each time the shoe box car went down the ramp. LOL! Next year, we will build a better derby box.)
