More from Mike & Darlene's Visit

I have a lot of catching up to do on here, so I am going to try to post a lot in the next few weeks. Just wanting to document our memories from this year! :o)

Breakfast at The Flying Biscuit Cafe

Last month, Mike (Tanna's brother), Darlene, Kylie and Eric came to visit from California. We had a great few days together before they headed to Savannah and we took off for San Francisco. I wrote about our fun afternoon at the Braves game and the zoo already ... so here are some more photos from their visit and our other activities.

On Saturday night (the night the family arrived from Cali) Tanna prepared a big ol' crawfish boil at his parents' house. Yum!

On Monday, the whole family enjoyed lunch at the OK Cafe before hitting the aquarium. Picutred here are Mike and Kylie.

Halabaji and Halmoni. See the "OK" lamp in the background between them? I did that on purpose because Halmoni's middle name is "Ok," which is pronounced kind of like "oak."

Brothers!

Like mother, like daughter--Darlene and Kylie snapping pics.

Father and daughter--so sweet!

Kylie and Eric enjoying the fish!

Group pic--I was too far away to get a good one. This one is with the flash off. We did get a great group shot with everyone as we were walking in. I am a sucker for those pics!

That night, Halmoni watched Kate (and Halabaji watched Kylie and Eric) so we could go out with Mike and Darlene. We had a great dinner at Kevin Rathbun Steak. Afterward, Mike and Tanna enjoyed some stogies at Krog Bar. The next morning, we met for breakfast at The Flying Biscuit (the original one), and then Mike, Darlene and Co. left for a Savannah side trip. We went to San Fran the next day. Our time together went by fast, but it sure was fun!

  1. Wow! Looks like you all stayed very busy while they were in town! How fun! The Flying Biscuit looks like a place my family needs to check out since the girls like biscuits so much. lol! ;) That's a good pic of Tanna with the low country boil. I can't believe how big Kylie and Eric are now! They grow up so fast!
