Pumpkin Patch, Take 1

On Saturday morning, we took the girls to a church pumpkin patch in Blountville. It was FREEZING--not to mention the on-and-off drizzling, sprinkling and various other forms of precipitation. There was supposed to be a fall festival Saturday as well--but because of the weather, it was postponed until this coming Saturday. Oh well--we got some cute pictures anyway. And a few pumpkins, too. Kate kept wanting to throw the little ones around! Crazy girl!

Double trouble! I was so excited that Kate's pumpkin sweater from last year still fit! I had bought it a little big hoping she'd get two years of wear out of it. Yay!

Skaggs Fam--I missed getting a pic of the Pierce Fam!

Ordinarily, we'd try to talk to the girls into taking off their coats for a few minutes--but it was so cold out, we didn't mind.

Happy Fall, Y'all!

  1. There are worse things than throwing mini pumpkins. My 3 yro nephew took a bite out of his last weekend. We'd just been to the apple orchard, too, and I think he got confused. : )

  2. We braved the drizzle and rain and freezing cold as well...Steve wasn't happy about it, but we drove all the way to athens for Adam's first pumpkin and I WAS NOT coming home without it and pictures to prove it!
