As Seen on TV ...
If you weren't aware, I am a dork who gets excited when I recognize something we own being used on television in a real-life TV show. It's true. Don't tell anyone, though--my DH might be embarrassed.
So to get us started, let's take this T-shirt that Jon Gosselin (of Jon & Kate + 8 fame) wore in an episode from a while back. (I think it may have been a birthday party show, but I can't say for sure.) Imagine my excitement when I first saw Jon Gosselin--who, by the way, is half-Korean--wearing this ... because ... I bought this shirt for Tanna last year! In fact, I gave it to him on Father's Day and he wore it when we brought Kate home from the hospital. Wasn't that sweet of him? Here's a pic from that very day:
Awwwww ... When I purchased the shirt, I made sure I could return it if need be because I wasn't sure if the DH would be down with it. But he was. He still wears it from time to time, too. Like last weekend, for example:
By the way, I have an awesome DH. He changes diapers--therefore, he rules. I mean, the shirt says so and everything. And if it's on a shirt, then it's the law. A federal law, actually.

When I saw the shirt on Jon Gosselin, I thought to myself-doesn't Tanna have that shirt?? :) Love the post! Yes, men who change diapers DO rule...I live with one too! :) But does he need a shirt to make it "official"? :)
ReplyDeleteBLY!
I thought I'd seen that shirt somewhere... Now I know!

I love Jon and Kate plus 8! :-)
ReplyDeleteI saw one of my favorite shirts on "What Not to Wear" one time -- they cut it up and put it in the trash can. It was the navy blue peasant shirt with the maroon embroidery. I used to wear it a lot. I didn't think it was that bad.
ReplyDeleteI made Jamie a "Bump Daddy" shirt (cause I was too cheap to buy one off the Net for $40 plus shipping). He wore it a lot until one day I accidentally ran it through the dryer. The computer-generated iron-on decal didn't survive. But I really like Tanna's/Jon's shirt a lot.
