Tanna and I had a great night out last night. On the way to dinner, he cranked up some old-school Debbie Gibson! Dinner was nice, and then we thought we'd hit Baskin-Robbins for 31-cent scoop night. It was funny because after dinner when our server asked us about dessert, I told her we were going somewhere else for dessert. She was like, "Oh, really? Where are you going?" And I was like, "31 Flavors!"
Well, when we got there about 9:30, the place was PACKED! Wow. There were kids everywhere! As it turns out ... my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
Anyway, we went to The Cheesecake Factory instead.

Laura, a friend from work, watched Kate for us--and she did great! We were very relieved! Yay!
We had a wonderful anniversary--thanks, everyone, for the nice anniversary wishes!

And ... four years ago TODAY ... was our Korean ceremony and reception here in Atlanta. Initially, we were going to do this right after the wedding (and before the reception), but it was going to be too much trouble and take up too much time. Then we were going to do this after we got back from our honeymoon--but at the last minute Tanna's parents decided it would be better to do it before we left for the honeymoon so family members from Korea could be there. I didn't have to do any planning, so I didn't object! So the morning after our Tennessee wedding/reception, we got up, packed, and drove straight to Atlanta. I think we went through the Chick-fil-A drive-through on the way. We got here with barely enough time to grab our change of clothes and get to the Korean restaurant. We were exhausted, but we had a wonderful time!
The photo above is our Christmas card for 2004. I already had a scan of it, so I thought I'd just post that. Funny story--there are a couple of things missing from my outfit. Tanna's mom and aunt couldn't remember how all of the traditional attire was supposed to go--and of course I had no idea--so we did the best we could! :o)
Awww...it looks like y'all had a great time! :) I'm glad Kate did so well with her babysitter! :) Yum...Cheesecake Factory for dessert! SOunds yummy! (love the FB quote insert!) hope you are having a great day!

I was wondering if you'd do BR ... We did... it took about 15 minutes to go through the line at 8:40, but it was fun. And overcame my cheapskate guilt (for 9, 31-cent scoops) by buying 3 donuts and a water.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, Cheesecake Factory! yummy! We, too, did the 31-cent scoops at BR. We arrived at the Buford store at 7:50 and waited for AN HOUR to buy 9 31-cent scoops. ha! What we won't do for a bargain. But, the kids thought it was fun. :)
ReplyDeleteA friend from YOUR work? I guess I don't know what you are doing these days.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations guys!
