First up is the category of maternity wear. No, I am not pregnant. But if I were, you can bet your positive pregnancy test that I'd be dragging out my Japanese Weekend Luxe Jersey maternity pants ASAP! These are, hands down, the best maternity pants evvvvv-er!
I first tried these pants last year when I was pregnant (duh) and when my MIL returned from a trip to California and brought back with her maternity clothes from my sisters-in-law. Darlene, Tanna's brother's wife, had sent a few of her Japanese Weekend items--including a pair of their Luxe Jersey pants. Let me just say: How comfortable can preggo clothes get? Not much more.

(I could post tons of photos of myself wearing my JW pants, but I'll limit it to three.)
Now, in case you didn't know, I feel like a giant when I am around Tanna's family--and at 5'4", I am not what you would consider a tall person. So Darlene's pants were borderline too short, but I made them work. I soon made my way to a local maternity store that carried Japanese Weekend and bought a pair in brown. (D's were black.) THEN ... I bought two more pair on eBay. Yes, the pants are that great, folks!
Seriously. I could have worn these pants almost every day of my maternity-wearing pregnancy days (and practically did). Not only that, but also they are great for the postpartum days when not much is looking too great and when you are still needing some comfortable clothes. Yes, they may be a little pricey for maternity clothes, but they are so worth it. And you can always try to find some on consignment or eBay.

He was in town on business just a few weeks before Kate was born.
Guess what I am wearing ...
I can go on and on about how great these pants are, but don't just take my word for it. As blogger double3 might say (but not about maternity pants, I'm sure), "Don't be dumb--get you some."
You are so cute! I just sent this to my pregnant friend who will be looking for clothes soon!
