I had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Kate got me some delicious chocolate (my favorite food!) and a cute card with a personalized photo of herself! Tanna transcribed her message, and it was so sweet. He filled up both sides of the inside of the card AND half of the back! And if you've ever seen how small his handwriting is, that's a lot!

We had a nice morning at church (where we took these photos). When we came home, Tanna fixed me pancakes and bacon. Yum! I got to take a nice afternoon nap, and then we took a walk to the grocery store (aka "the groc").

In the evening, before Kate went to sleep, we hung out together for some family time. After that, Tanna prepared a fabulous chicken-and-potato (and bacon) dish, along with bread and lettuce (plain, just the way I like it!). I topped this off with a nice, cold, refreshing Coca-Cola (out of the can, with a straw). It was wonderful!
I hope everyone else had a lovely day and felt as loved as I did!
P.S. The little dress Kate wore to church yesterday is Riley's from when she was a babe. I believe Carolyn and Tom brought it back from Hawaii. Love the bright colors!
