We had a great weekend in Tennessee and North Carolina. It was an interesting trip home after we left Asheville. I was afraid we were going to run out of gas! Many, many gas stations were completely out--or they had their pumps closed, at least. In Tennessee and North Carolina, it was common to see pumps that were taped off or pumps with bags over them. We finally found some gas at a station near the airport, and we were able to fill up. There was a $50 limit at that station--I can't remember how much it was per gallon. Tanna will, though.

ReplyDeleteyeah, $4.69 per gallon, definitely the most i've ever paid for gas although not the most by total amount. that goes to ted's land rover that i filled up in cali for $105. and i would characterize your mood more as panicked and freaking out, beyond worried phase.
