Feliz Cumpleanos, Uncle Joe!

It's my BIL Joe's birthday today. I won't mention his exact age, but it is somewhere around 43. :o) Joe lives in Spain with his lovely wife (my sister Cindy) and their eight fun kiddos. He's a very godly man with a fun-loving personality. If you know Joe, then you know he's always got a smile on his face and funny thing to say! Joe and the fam are coming to visit us here the U.S. soon, and we can't wait. Joe, you're a beauty! We love you and hope your birthday is not hurtin'. HAVE A GREAT DAY!

This is typical Joe. I don't have access to the actual photos right now, but here is a scrapbook spread of Joe illustrating Scripture for the kids. Typical Joe! He is using random things from around the house to bring the passage from Ephesians 6 to life: "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."
