My Latest Vistaprint Order

All right, Ladies! I finally got around to completing my latest Vistaprint order. In case you didn't know, Vistaprint has been all the rage in a certain circle of bloggers. You know who you are. ;o)

I know some people aren't fans of the site, but I have been a Vistaprint customer for more than five years now. I suppose I placed my first order when I was wedding planning; I ordered some business cards that I used as favor tags to attach to the little bells at our wedding reception. My Vistaprint kicks seem to come in phases--for example, when I was pregnant with Kate, I ordered several things. And over the years, I have bought several sets of address labels and also have helped with many a birthday invitation from Vistaprint.

So you can imagine my excitement at seeing all of the fun ideas the blogging ladies have been sharing. Lots of creativity flowing. And when Hannah told me about the cool owl designs Vistaprint was offering, well, I had to place an order. Fortunately for me, I was still on the company e-mail list and got their daily offers. Yes, they e-mail just about every day, but their free offers are worth checking out. And I agree ... the slowest shipping is rarely that slow. But if I do need something within a certain time frame, I am too afraid to risk it.

Now ... on to my recent order. I went a little overboard, and I still have some ideas floating around. And maybe I overdid it with the owls. Just a little.

Gift tags. These I actually forgot to put in my cart, so they are still in my portfolio. Maybe I'll be placing another order soon. ;o)

These are actually postcards with a blank backside--perfect for jotting a quick note. I got 100 for free, and I added 100 envelopes for only $3.74.

Matching address labels to go with the above postcard-turned-notecards. I obviously blurred out our address. I am getting 140 of these for free.

This is actually the design for a free pen I ordered.

Notepad with a touch of attitude. I thought I had a special offer of free for this one, but it turns out I paid $6.74. I am not complaining, though, because of the great deal I got on all of this stuff.

Notebook. Free. Oh, wait--I am paying an additional 34 cents to have the 2010 calendar on the inside back cover. It is regularly 49 cents, but one of my offers was a discount on the items that were not free.

Gift tags. I ordered 50 for $8.24.

These are premium business cards. I plan to use them as gift tags or inserts--perhaps in Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes, etc. I am getting 250 for free. That's a lot, I know, but these can be used for many years to come.

Note cards--I am getting 10 for $5.99.

Christmas return-address labels. (Again, our address is blurred out.) I am getting 140 for zero dollars and zero cents.

Rubber stamp for Christmas. Can use on DIY gift tags, Christmas cards, envelopes, items for Bible study or Sunday school, etc.--the possibilities are endless.

OK, so I am getting allllll of the above (with the exception of the first gift tags, which I forgot to put in my cart) for a grand total--including shipping--of $38.56. Not too shabby, huh? I had a bit of trouble checking out and actually had to call customer service. I think I had too many special offers in my cart because my total was even a little less than this before. Long story short, customer service was able to help me--and although my total was a little higher, I wasn't going to complain. Look at those deals!

Happy shopping!
