Here's a quick recap of our week last week ...

Last Monday, friends Sharik, Susan and their two girls were in town from Florida. After Tanna got home from work, we drove up to Alpharetta to visit them. That's Sharik, Tanna and Burt in the photo. Can you believe these guys are doctors? Yes, these three went to med school together. Tanna and Sharik (and Susan, Sharik's wife) also went to high school together.

Kate had so much fun playing with their two girls, Emma and Ava--who, by the way, will soon have a new sibling. How exciting!

Kate got to stay up waaaaaaay past her bedtime!

Having a ball in the basement! Sharik's parents have a huge drum down there, and the kids love to bang on it!

On Wednesday morning, we met some friends at the library for story time. Here are Di and Jamie. Doesn't Jamie look adorable in her blue Hanna outfit and pretty sweater?

Luann and Trey were there, too! It's hard to believe that little sister Shelby will be here sooooo soon!

Kate really enjoyed standing on these squishy cushions.

On Thursday, Susan stopped by for a visit. She brought Kate a few little treats--thank you, Susan! It was great to see you and to catch up!

Friday morning was our last music class for the semester. I think Kate passed her final. She pulled an all-nighter cramming for it the night before. She shares the same studying habits as her Mommy--who knew?

Here's Kate with Mrs. Bethany, her music teacher. Oh, and me, too. ;o)

This past weekend, Abigail and Anna-Claire--two of Kate's cousins from Tennessee--came to visit. (More on that to come in a later post, of course.) What a great time we all had! Here they are in their matching PJs. I'm sure Tanna was rolling his eyes, but that's OK. I think they look adorable. :o)
