Owls, Owls Everywhere!

OK, so I have developed this interest in owls. You might could call it a slight obsession. (Does anyone else say or know people who say "might could"?) I have no less than six owl shirts for Kate to wear this fall and winter--LOL! Of course, they all were bought on major markdowns or secondhand, so I got great deals on them. (Remember Kate's owl-themed Easter basket? A few of them were in there.) Anyway, that is why I have no reason or justification to buy any of the cute new owl things out for little girls this fall. But I thought I'd share them with you in case you are in the market. Whoooo knows? Maybe these will make it to markdowns later this year, and I can buy them for next year. Enjoy!

First up ... Mini Boden:

And if you like to fall into the Gap:

This cute shirt is from J Khaki and is available at Belk:

These next selections are from CWD Kids:

These owl dolls from blabla aren't new releases, but I still wanted to include them:

I know there are a lot more owls out there, too! Do a search for "owl" on etsy.com and see if you can stand the cuteness! I saw some adorable owl things at Target, but I couldn't get the photos to save and post properly. Also, word on the street is that there will be some adorable owl-themed gymmies from Gymboree coming soon. I may have to pick up a pair of those. When the weather gets cooler, I'll have to have Kate give us an owl fashion show. LOL!

  1. I want that owl top from Mini Boden for my 3.5 year old, but I can't bring myself to pay the price for it. It is so cute too. I'm sure Kate will look Fab in all her owls!

  3. I love owls too! You've inspired me to pick up a shirt or two for Sam. Stimulating the economy one post at a time!

Here's an adult (no, not THAT kind of adult!) owl thing I found at the Indy Craft Experience. It makes a great little gift for girlfriends.

Kristen! I am LOL b/c I was thinking of Jim when I wrote that. ha! I know a few other people from back home that say "might could." But I don't hear it like I used to.

Lee Anne--can't wait to see Sam's owls. That little owl change purse is cute.

  5. How cute! We were in West Jefferson, NC (near Boone) and they had a Christmas shop that had an owl themed Christmas tree. I have never seen anything like it before, you would have loved it.

You know I have a little obsession with owls myself-hmm...wonder where I got that from? :) I love the MB shirt too(but yes, agree that I would never pay $$ that for a shirt), and I love the new Target owl things. Esp the quilt. Cute cute! Can't wait til the gymbo gymmies arrive-they are definitely on my list!
