Guess what?! Being a Facebook fan has paid off again! Last week, Blabla posted a special offer on its Facebook page: The first few people to respond via e-mail could purchase a giant Blabla doll at a giant discount. I happened to be the first to respond, so we got first dibs. :o) YAY! I selected the offer of getting the giant Bubbles (the cat) doll for 70 percent off! What a deal!
I chose Bubbles because she (he?) was 70 percent off (duh!) AND because Kate got a regular-sized Bubbles Blabla doll for her birthday from Rebekah and Riley (and Aunt Robin and Uncle Steven). Now her Bubbles had a Mommy! (We'll say Bubbles is a girl.) We went to pick up our Giant Bubbles yesterday, and we took the other Bubbles with us for fun!
Kate wore the Blabla "Ask the robin" shirt I bought her last year--and the lady at the store recognized it. :o) I bought it a little big so we could get two summers of wear out of it, and we have. Yay!
If you haven't been to the Blabla store, you should check it out if you're in the area. It is such a fun and whimsical place. I just love the window displays and the merchandising. Kate wanted to tear the whole place apart, so we just looked for a few minutes.
Hello?
That is Bubbles in the chair. It's a different Bubbles from the one we took home--but ours is like that one. :o)
Awwwwww ... Bubbles gets a kiss from Kate.
Love the blabla store windows!
Kate sits still (only for a second) inside the store.
Waiting for a ride home ...
I sooo wish we had this store in Philly! BTW I told a friend about those Coach pencils and she went today and they gave her two sets!
