We went back!

Last Tuesday evening, we were out and about. On the way home, I thought we'd swing by the hotel parking lot where we saw the Wienermobile last week to see if it was there and if we could get a better picture. Well, we got there, but the Wienermobile was nowhere in sight. So we turned around and started to head home.

I almost went out on a side street, but then changed my mind and proceeded to head toward Peachtree. I was slowly making my way in that direction when what to my wondering eyes should appear ... but a big ol' Wienermobile and a Hotdogger so sincere! We made a U-turn and went back to that fateful spot. LOL!

The Hotdogger was polite--despite probably thinking I was a weirdo! I asked if I could get a photo of Kate, and he invited us inside for a quick pic. Then he offered to take a pic of the both of us. It was a brief and fun encounter.

I was just on the Wienermobile blog when I saw this post about a guy who recently visited one of the vehicles. His mom had taken photos of him with the Wienermobile when he was 3 years old--and during their recent trip to see the Wienermobile, she busted out her scrapbook featuring pictures from way back then. LOL! Love it--maybe one day when Kate is older she can visit the Wienermobile again. Who knows--perhaps she will be a Hotdogger one day. ha!

Thank you, Wienermobile, for spreading joy and fun across America!

Kate went straight for the driver's seat. (I had tried to sit her in a passenger chair, but she would have none of it.)

Let's turn this thing around ...

OK. Now what?

The super-nice Hotdogger offered to take a pic of the both of us. Thanks again!

  1. This is hilarious! And I love that the driver/operator is called a "hotdogger". Fun! Kate looks to have aspirations of growing up to be a Hotdogger one day! :) She is enjoying driving that hot dog!
    bly!
