Whew! If you read the title, that's a lot of stuff to cover in one blog post! I am trying to do a little catching up on the ol' blog. And I have quite a ways to go. If you can't tell, things have been super busy around these parts. When Tanna's brother comes into town, well, he likes to have a full schedule. And a full schedule we have had! ;o) Here are some photos to cover Sunday and Monday of last week ...
So ... first things first (not that I have been blogging in any particular order lately, but who cares?) ...
After attending church, stopping at the grocery store, eating lunch and registering for the Peachtree Road Race, we met Mike, Darlene, Kylie and Eric at HippoHopp last Sunday afternoon. It had been quite a while since we'd been there. It was a rainy day, and the place was pretty busy. It looked like there was at least one birthday party going on (maybe two). The kids had a blast!
Kate had so much fun! You better believe there was some crying when it was time to go home.

It was FREEZING on Monday. As a matter of fact, when we got up, Tanna was like, "Is that snow or is it just stuff blowing off of the trees?" Ummmmm ... it was snow. Crazy. We got ready, bundled up met the fam and friends at the Busy Bee Cafe for an early lunch. Tanna has been on a quest to find Atlanta's best fried chicken. This is a project he's been working on for many months (maybe even a few years now). I don't want to give away any of his findings, but I think it is safe to say that the Busy Bee is a contender for the title. We'll see ...
Here's Mike with some of that famous fried chicken!
Some special friends of Mike and Darlene's drove down from Knoxville to visit them. They joined us for lunch that day. Yay! Afterward, we were going to hit the children's museum, but due to lack of parking in the downtown area (!!!! Don't get me started!!!!), I decided to forego the museum visit and run our errand and take Kate home for a nap. I think it was a good decision because we had a late night.
Post-nap, we met everyone for dinner at Cho Won Buffet up in Duluth. I think Kate ate more kalbi than I did. It was deeeeee-lish!
After dinner, we headed over to Mozart Bakery for dessert. Love this photo of Kate with Auntie Darlene.
Yes, we are out past bedtime. Can you tell? :o)
