REFERRAL! IT'S A BOY!

We are so thrilled to share our exciting news: We received our referral! IT'S A BOY! We actually got the call last Friday (March 12) and met with our social worker this afternoon. We received another round of paperwork to complete--hopefully by the end of the week. Our life is all kinds of crazy right now--but most of it is good-crazy, so we aren't complaining!

To say we were surprised to receive a referral so soon is an understatement. I'll have to share the story of "the call" in another post. We also received two photos, and he is ADORABLE! (We can't share the photos just yet--but you can take my word for it! He is C-U-T-E!)

Timeline from now until he comes home is looking like five or six months or so, maybe a little longer. Please join us in praying that the next steps go smoothly. We still have to have our home study update (from where we moved), which we hope to schedule late this month or early April. The good news is that our address change shouldn't affect the referral-acceptance/coming-home paperwork process.

Friday night, we went out to dinner to celebrate. I have a better photo, but we are holding the baby's picture so I can't post it.
