Violins and Valentines

Before I write about our most recent trip to Tennessee (Kate and I just returned last Wednesday), I thought I should post about the trip before that, which took place in February. We were there for about five days, I suppose. I think I'll write up a few posts to cover it all. This one includes--as you can guess by the title--violins and Valentines! How fun!

Rebekah and Riley have been taking violin lessons, and they really enjoy it. We got to tag along to one of their private sessions. We arrived a few minutes early, and there was another lesson going on. While we waited in a hallway area, Kate danced to the music, and we snapped a few photos.

Kate and Aunt Robin. Robin bought her this Valentine shirt when she was soooooo little. I thought it would be such a looooooong time before Kate would be able to wear it. She is growing up so fast!

Time for lessons! Riley is up first.

Something is funny.

Next up is Rebekah. Notice the girls are decked out in Valentine/heart attire.

I wish you could hear the beautiful music.

Jesus seems to be enjoying the performances, too.

After the lessons, we let loose!

Now on to Valentines ...

Here's Kate in one of her Valentine outfits ...

... and another. (Had to get them all worn as much as possible, you know. (I actually don't have a problem with their being worn after the holiday. Not that you were wondering, but there you go.))

Working on Valentines ...

Getting ready to send lots of love ...

Bekah and Riley received some candy from a not-so-secret admirer. ;o)

There's plenty more to share from our adventures, too! Until then ... have a great evening!
