Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

My mother used to type that on the typewriter, and she taught me how to do so, too.

I miss typewriters.

I used to have some old ones. They were cool. I gave them away.

I love the sound of typewriters. My mother used to be a medical transcriptionist. She typed for a living. Fast.

When I was little, every once in a while, when things got really backed up at her place of business, she would bring a big fancy typewriter home and do some work from our dining room table.

It was so fun when she let us type on it (the typewriter, that is).

Oh yeah ... back to the blog ...

Things have been very busy here, to say the least. I will have to catch you up. There is much to tell.

In the last two weeks alone, we have moved, traveled, been sick, gotten well. And a lot more, too.

I am leaving out so much more--and even more from before then.

But I will try to catch up on here. Because I don't want to forget some of this stuff!
