About Last Week ...

This is another one of those posts that covers a bunch of random things ... things that happened last week.

Here we go ...

Birthday lunch with our boss! A couple of other co-workers--you know who you are--weren't able to make it. That just means we'll all have to get together again soon!

After seeing how much Kate enjoyed Trey's red fire truck, we decided to get her a similar toy. Here she is with her Little People school bus. I think she is staring to get a little more excited about it now, but at first ... she didn't seem as jazzed as I thought she'd be. LOL!

When her friend Trey came over later in the week, however, the school bus saw a lot more playing time.
Trey is an old pro at this thing. He'll be turning 1 soon--can't believe it!
Trey and Kate had fun digging around in the ol' laundry basket full o' toys.

On Friday evening, we took a walk to the groc (and to get some take-out for dinner). It must have been the thing to do because along the way we saw at least three of our neighbors who were doing the same thing.

Back at their place, Kate gets tickled and tries on some shades.
