Wanted to share another favorite baby thing around here--
Hanna Andersson Swedish Moccasins. This cool footwear for babies is like a sock and shoe in one! Perfect! They're very versatile, too--Kate's worn her hot pink ones with leggings/dresses, jeans, pants ... you name it. I know it's not really the season for them right now, but they are great for cold weather. I suppose they make great slippers as well--but we wore them as everyday baby shoes. They may seem a little pricey, but I might even go so far as to say I'd pay full price! (Shocker, I know! I am a big bargain shopper!) We got ours for only $8 (I think) during Hanna Andersson's last big sale (HA has two huge sales a year--one in December/January, and the other in June--or so I'm told). Atlanta now has two HA stores--both have opened just in the last several months.
Here are a couple of photos of Kate wearing her mocs:
The above photo was taken in January, I believe.
Kate's cute polka-dot dress also is from HA--
it was a gift from one of Tanna's colleagues.
Hanna Andersson is known for its playdresses.
In the photo below, Kate is wearing the same shoes ...
a few months later. I'm telling ya, she has worn these A LOT!
HA also makes a tights version (see below).
These are great to wear with dresses to church.
When Kate wears other shoes to church,
it seems like they're usually handed over to us
by the nursery staff when we go to pick her up.
We've actually gotten nice comments on these tights
more than once on how the tights and the shoes
are connected. Again ... brilliant!
ETA: They're machine-washable, too! Really ... what's not to like?
