Brrrrrrr!

Baby, it's cold outside! What happened to Spring? It's supposed to get down to the 30s again overnight, and I'm not a fan of this cold weather--especially considering that I get cold when it's, like, 70 degrees. In fact, I have a small collection of clothing items that I've purchased while traveling to help combat the cold. My most recent purchase was a navy fleece jacket from the hotel gift shop in Savannah last month. (It was a lot colder than we expected--and I forgot to pack our coats.) Right now, I am wearing a hooded sweatshirt from a university in Korea. I can think of at least two other impulse-type buys of mine to help satisfy the chill factor.

Back here at home, the fickle weather in Spring and Fall affects us a little more than the average Joe, I suppose, because of where we live. At our place, either the heat is on or the air is on. We can't just turn the air conditioning off and turn the heat on--or vice versa. So right now, it's "air" time. We've got the space heater going, positioned in the hall and pointed toward the nursery. So I thought I'd make the most of the weather and pull out one of my I-got-cold-while-on-the-road purchases and enjoy it while I can. In a few more months, I'll probably be wishing for cooler temps. Anyway, wherever you are, I hope you are warm!

In other news ...
Earlier today, we met Mary Jane for lunch to celebrate her birthday. :o)

This morning's view--it was so pretty, I had to take a picture.
If you look out and not down, you'd never know you were in the city.
