The Birthday Girl in her Hanbok

Our little doll

I have a lot of things that I want to get down regarding Kate's birthday, so I'll be posting lots in the next few days. There's so much I want to remember, so bear with me. LOL!

Today I took Kate over to Lori's house for a quick photo shoot in her birthday hanbok (traditional Korean dress). Tanna's parents brought this back from Korea earlier this year. I love the bright and beautiful colors and the details. The flowers are so cute--we ended up incorporating flowers into Kate's birthday theme.

Here are a few shots from today--Lori has a few more posted on her blog.

Kate's hat is on a little crooked, but it's hard to get her to keep anything on her head these days.

This fan was a gift from a cousin in Korea. So pretty.

Tanna's sister's family sent this bracelet--it's a traditional 1st birthday element. Some of Tanna's relatives in Korea sent two rings back with Tanna's parents. Kate likes to chew on them, so we have to be careful. She doesn't wear them too long because they quickly end up in her mouth.
