Sunday evening, we went to Steve and Candice's house for dinner--they moved back to Atlanta from Chicago a little over a year ago, I guess. (Steve and Tanna used to work together.) It was our first time to see Baby Jordan, who had just turned 8 weeks old. He's a cutie! I love his nursery!
Funny story kind of relating to Steve and Candice. They got married the same year we did, but about four or five months later. Well, the morning of their wedding, I needed to check something (location or time or something--can't remember)--so I got on their wedding Web site. You know how such sites will have a place to write a brief description about the couple? Well, on theirs, Candice had written that Steve was a "hot doctor." It was a cute write-up, and I read it to Tanna. He was like, "How come you never call me a 'hot doctor'?" And then he was acting all pouty! LOL! So since then I call him a hot doctor all the time. haha

A few days later, Michael, a friend of Tanna's from his Georgia Tech CCF days, came over to visit for a bit before the guys went out to eat. Michael is in New Orleans now, and it was good to see him.

And the next day, we went out to eat with Burt and Jenn--who, by the way, just got engaged last month! (CONGRATULATIONS!) Jenn is in dentistry training up in Michigan, so we wanted to get together before she had to go back. We went to Honey Pig, a Korean restaurant up in Duluth. It was really good--and the place was packed! You can read a review by The Blissful Glutton here.
You are constantly on the go!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys have been busy, but having fun- I love the nursery in the first pic...sooo pretty (well, handsome since the baby is a boy!) :) Also, Congrats to Burt and Jenn!
ReplyDeleteBly!
The Korean "peace" sign pic is so fun because it reminds me of our time in Korea! It makes me smile. My Korean doctor friend said it is the "V" for victory!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
Kate sure is growing up! Blessing to you all!
