Hi, Everyone! Happy Cow Appreciation Day! If you haven't dressed up in a divine bovine ensemble, it's not too late! Slap some spots on,
print out a cow mask, and get on down to your local Chick-fil-A for some free chicken!

Kate and I have been on a mini-CFA tour of sorts with our friends Jennifer, Evan, and Liam. We met them for breakfast at the CFA on Peachtree at Collier. I love this CFA--nothing against other CFAs, but it is one of my favorites. (This is the Saturday-morning breakfast buffet CFA, by the way.) So we met them there at 8 a.m. to kick off the big day and to celebrate right!

We had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed the free food! Kate wore a denim jumper that had a cow on it as well as a little cow hat. She took her little CFA cow and special cow flashlight, too! I just wore the free cow headband things CFA has been giving away. Maybe next year I can be more creative with my attire.

Jennifer made these fab shirts for her family to wear--didn't they turn out great? She also made Evan some cow ears and printed out the cow noses--LOL! They all looked fantastic! Liam is wearing a little cow hat that Kate had when she was younger. What a cutie!

I was a bit surprised that there weren't more people into the festivities. It was still early in the day, though. CFA employees were giving out the free cow hats to customers, but some people were turning them down. (GASP!) I actually heard a CFA lady tell a man that if he wore the hat, he could get a free entree. He politely declined! What's up with that?

While we were there, the manager inflated the giant cow outside of the restaurant. Evan really got a kick out of it! You know we had to get a photo!
After breakfast, we headed over to their place. Liam took a nap, and Evan and Kate had fun playing while their mommies visited. It was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed it!

For lunch, we thought we'd go ... embarrass ... I mean ... meet up with ... our hubbies at the CFA where they work. Customers here were really into celebrating CAD! A CFA employee took our photo, and I got a few snaps of some of the other folks who participated as well.

We had an udderly fantastic morning and afternoon. Who knows? Maybe we'll hit up another CFA for dinner! That's a great thing about living in Atlanta--plenty of CFAs to choose from! See you there?

ETA: We went back for dinner, too! (See other post.) Yes, I am a dork, but I don't care! :o) Here is a quick pic:
