Guest Entry From Kate

Hi everybody, this is Kate with a special guest blog. Daddy-o is helping me type this since my fingers are still too short to type efficiently. In case you didn’t know, it’s my um-ma’s (mommy in Korean) birthday today. I’m not sure how old she is and it doesn’t matter because I don’t know what numbers are anyway. Ah-pah says he won’t teach me numbers until next year then algebra at age 3. Can’t wait!

I wanted to tell everyone that my um-ma is the best I’ve ever had. She’s so kind and patient with me, even when the ol’ man gets frustrated with my crying, which has been a lot lately with two new teeth pokin' through. She teaches me all sorts of things, like how to clap and say “mmmm” and wave hi and bye. She reads all these books to me—I love looking at books! She sings songs about Jesus to me and teaches me things about God. She even changes my poopy diaper in the middle of the night because I usually have at least one surprise while I’m sleeping.

Well, just wanted to spend a few minutes telling everyone how much I love my um-ma and how wonderful she is. Hope she has a great birthday!
