So last weekend we were in Knoxville ... K-town ... KnoxVegas, Baby!
We had an awesome weekend, and there is too much to tell. So many fun times, great people, good memories. Be looking for the Knoxville files in posts to come. Here are a few snaps from our trip:

The iPhone will show us the way ...

Look! It's the big gold ball (otherwise and officially known as The Sunsphere). Remember
"The 1982 World's Fair--you've got to be there!"? Were you there? I was. I stole some Pac-Man stickers and hid them in a Little People house after we got home. That's where my Mom found them.

Tennessee Theatre--so pretty

Look! It's Tanna and me dancing beneath The Sunsphere! LOL!

First Presbyterian Church--where my oldest sister was married.

Historic Cemetery

Amelia's first birthday party! What a great time we had--will have to post more soon.

I helped Tim with his famous twice-baked potatoes.

Tim and Tanna--friends don't let friends do more than four residencies. LOL!

Tim and Tara have a hummingbird feeder on their back deck.
This is one of its visitors.
Do you know how hard it is to get a good picture of a hummingbird?

Cedar Springs Presbyterian
We went here Sunday morning.

Surprisingly, Kate did a great job in the nursery! Here she is with Amy (Tim and Tara's little girl--she is one month older than Kate). When I picked Kate up, the nursery people said she did great and was "very active." LOL!

Sunday afternoon--We had lunch with my BIL's family over at his brother's house. (Did you follow all of that?) It was a fun time. Mitzi, my sister's SIL, took this photo of us with the McIlrath fam on the Plat front porch. She has a cool camera.

On the way home ... like father ... like daughter.
To be continued ... one day soon ...
Sounds like a fab trip! Great pictures! Looks like you had a wonderful time with everyone! Love the last pic! :)
ReplyDeletebtw, I went to the World's Fair, also! :) Maybe we were there at the same time! heehee!
